Mike "Da Man" Mangini holds the title as the world's fastest drummer.
Mike has played in bands such as the Rick Berlin Band and Annihilator but found his niche in speed drumming competitions.
At the 2005 Summer NAMM Session Mike drummed out 1,247 singles in 60 seconds.
Not only does Mike have fast hands, he has fast feet, pounding down a toe-stomping 13,222 singles with his feet in 15 minutes.

What was the world's longest group hug?
On April 23 2004 5,117 students and staff from St. Matthew Catholic High School in Orleans, Ontario, Canada got into a group and hugged.

What was the world's longest paperclip chain?
Each paperclip can be no longer than 1.6 inches. Each paper can be no wider than 1 1/4 inches. You have 24 hours.
So if you are up for some paperclipping then you'll have to beat the team from Eisenhower Jr. High School, Taylorsville, Utah, who on March 26 to 27, 2004 linked together 1,560,377 paperclips which totaled 22.17 miles in length.
If you can't find 59 enthusiastic friends to help you then you can try for the world's longest paperclip chain by an individual in 24 hours.
The current record is held by Dan Meyer and was set on February 13 to 14, 2004 consisting of 54,030 paperclips with a total length of 5,340 feet or 1,627.6 meters.

In September 1990 Triumph Int. Japan Ltd manufactured a bra with the following dimensions:

Arulanantham Suresh Joachim, from Sri Lanka, did to be entered into the Guinness World Records for the longest time spent balancing on one foot. Joachim achieved this feat at Vihara Maha Devi Park Open Air Stadium in Sri Lanka. He balanced on one foot for 1864 minutes (76h 40m). It took him from May 22, 1997 - May 25, 1997 to set the new record.

The world's longest salami except that it was 486.8 meters or 1,597 feet long. It was made in Italy in November 2003 by Rino Parenti and Pro-Loco Zibello and on November 23 2003 it went on display at Piazza Battisti, Zibello, Italy.

Ever try peeling an apple without having the peel break? We're pretty sure you never made it as far as Kathy Wafler Madison of New York. On October 16 1976, then 16 year old, Kathy Wafler Madison managed to peel an apple without the peel breaking. The record setting peel was measured at 2068 inches (172 feet 4 inches) long. Now before you go trying to break the record keep in mind she was a sales manager for an apple tree nursery.

What was the world's largest sandwich? On April 24, 2004 eight sandwich makers got together at the Zocalo Square in Mexico City to place the top slice on the world's largest sandwich. When they were done the mayonnaise, cheese, ham and lettuce sandwich weighed a mouth watering 6,991 pounds or 3,178 kilograms.

World's longest kite? Called 'The Cracken' and designed by Michel Trouillet of France, on November 18 1990 it became the world's longest kite ever flown when Michel Trouillet and helpers managed to get it airborne in Nîmes France. The kite weighs in at 233 pounds and measures just over a kilometre in length (1,034 metres). This translates to 3,394 feet for those not too familiar with the metric system.

Most blood pressure readings taken in 24 hours: 2,302 - On 15 March 2008 by businesswoman Sister Grace Galindez-Gupana (Philippines).

The largest tea bag was made by Celestial Seasonings Tea weighing 48 kg (106 lb - 1696 ounces) and was displayed at the Celestial Seasonings Tea Party, Toronto, Canada on 15 December 2007.

The most people wearing Groucho Marx glasses was 4,077 for an event organized by the Leukemia and Lymphoma society of Springfield, Missouri, United States, on 9 July 2007.

The oldest couple to run a marathon were Shigetsugu Anan (Japan) aged 83 yr 11 days and his wife Miyoko Anan (Japan) 78 yr 71 days at the Ibusuki Nanohana Marathon, Japan on 13 January 2008. (Combined 161 Years 82 Days)

The youngest female golfer to score a hole-in-one is Mary Janiga (USA), aged 8 years 211 days (3131 Days) at the par 3 5th at Boca Raton Municipal Golf Club, Florida, USA, on 18 November 2005.

World Toilet Day takes place on the 19th November every year.
