JukeBox Bingo

I was so impressed with Cath's Bingoake that I decided to have a go myself ... thank u so much for the idea.

I have a mp3 file of 30 songs with Bingo cards with 16 unique songs (all cards are different)  Bingo cannot be called until at least song 26 and I have the card numbers listed of the ones that can call Bingo (then 27,28 and 29) I have the same two artists on the last four songs so teams may disqualify themselves by suffering from premature bingoation!

I found a Freeware program called mp3DirectCut which helped a lot it has a batch processing tool so I put the 30 songs I wanted into a folder ran the program and it cuts them into 17 second portions. I then pick which portion I want (I normally starat at cut 7 and then go from there). It also allows a batch automatic fade so I end up with my 30 songs with a 5 second fade between each one.

Writing some clever SQL code (about 150 lines of it) and some other VBstuff I generate the unique cards and automatically put the text into them from a txt file input.

In the RAR file is the input text file, Answer file, mp3 file and the cards.

Now it is all written it takes about 20 minutes from start to finish to do the whole thing .. thanks Cath again for the idea.. If anyone wants there own one done I am happy to run it for them if they send me a text file (like 1215.txt in the rar file) and I will send back the cards and answer book
