Right. That's me up to date following installation of broadband (for which I waited 12 weeks to get some service from Virgin Media).

Sadly, it looks probable that The Bell & Bear quizzes will cease at end of this month. My daughter, the proprietor of the pub, is leaving the trade - another victim of the greed of pub companies (Punch). She has owned it since September 2001.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Chris and all my friends and contributors of the Quizmasters sites which I think are an invaluable aid to the composition of good quality and individually tailored quizzes.

How I do Joker Rounds
Tell the players the 3 subjects - in this case 'sport in the news', 'Dolly Parton' and 'Dogs'. They need to answer all three subjects but DOUBLE the points on their joker round - get them to write the chosen subject at the top of where they will be writing the answers. I always ask for a show of hands first to see who is doing what and to make sure no-one changes their mind!
