Quiztime Quizmasters: July 2011

Latest Quiz attached - with grateful thanks to all Group contributors. A more positive attitude by the pub owner this week with the same numbers as last week but several different teams turning up so hopefully higher numbers will turn up next week as at least two teams were on holiday from the previous week. Many thanks to all for your postings, I find them very helpful. I present a fortnightly quiz evening to raise funds for the Devon Air Ambulance. I have recently been given, from members of the family, two packages of weekly quizzes. They are from Bubble Tree quizzes and the Pubs quizzes, whilst these are very good some of them are much too good for my fun evenings. I can find no reason for posting these on site here as there no notes forbidding this. Could anyone advise me as to the legality of this please.

KEITHSQUIZ 006 BRIDGE MUSIC QUIZ 17-07-11

The 6 week trial at The Old Bridge has ended but the landlord has asked me to carry on. He said my music quiz has made a big difference to his Sunday night takings. I had considered stopping the quiz myself as I start a new full time job next week. I don't know if I will have time to write & run two quizzes & work full time. Also Sunday is one of my two days off. I'm hoping I can manage it all. I will carry on but initially will run for a couple of months to see how things go. I appear to have the opposite problem to my fellow Quizmasters as I have also been offered another quiz in Stockport which I have turned down.

MOUNT PLEASANT QUIZ 120711

Second quiz here and already a familiar pattern emerging - a warm evening, attendance almost half of last week, most teams being those that I brought with me from The Cottage and a licencee moaning already about how much it's costing him. So we'll try one more week next Tuesday and probably knock it in the head until October. (I wonder how much his Psychic Evening is going to cost him in August)
