'To The Max'
Hi Chris
There is no doubt the effort you put into your website and the variable contents are unbeatable anywhere else on the internet and very rewarding for all those quiz masters / mistresses out there doing their bit to exercise the public's brain cells. I have been given so much help and ideas from your themed rounds I thought I would it was my turn to return the compliment with an idea I have used successfully in my quizzes.
I call the round 'News Events In Years Gone By' and from that link pull together a 'loosely themed round' with the event.
For example.
Max Bygraves was born on the 16th of October 1922 (EVENT) - Title of the round 'To The Max' therefore all the questions refer to famous 'Maxes'
1. Which music hall comedian Max was billed as 'The Cheeky Chappie'? ANSWER: Max Miller.
2. In which country was the publishing magnate Robert Maxwell born Jan Ludvik Hoch in 1923? ANSWER: Czechoslavakia.

10. In which British TV detective series did Peter Woodthorpe play surly pathologist Max? ANSWER: Inspector Morse.
Probably not quite as difficult as some of your rounds but it is a different angle which punters enjoy.
Enjoy the break and holidays
Thanks
